Group Visits

1) Normal visit

The visit takes place during normal opening hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. last visit at 4 p.m.) for a group of 15+ people

Group rate: €6 per person

Guide: if you wish, an official guide from the city of Bruges will accompany you for one to two hours (max) for a fee of €60
Max. 20 visitors per guide.

A souvenir bag (not included in the entrance fee) : option of giving each visitor a bag containing 500 g of chocolate, a flavoured chocolate sachet, etc.; price according to contents.

For school groups, we recommend one teacher per 10 pupils.

It is mandatory to book in writing at least one week before the visit.

2) Visit "extra chocolate"

The visit takes place during normal opening hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. last visit at 4 p.m.) for a group of 15+ people

Group rate:
€11 per person, student or 65+
€9 per child (from 6 till 11 years)

This visit includes the visit of the museum, the demonstration and a bag of 500 gr of chocolate

3) The Chocolate walking guide for Bruges

We have created a walk along Bruges' most interesting chocolate related sites.
Consult this chocolate walking guide as you walk among Bruges' most beautiful attractions and choose 2 out of the 12 chocolate shops to take a whiff, a taste or have a drink full of chocolate!
Then continue your tour with an informative visit to the Chocolate Museum, Choco-Story.
If you are curious about the Bruges of today and yesterday and you are crazy about chocolate, this walk is made for you!

This is how it works

At the back of the guide you will find 3 tickets that can be torn out.
Two of them can be exchanged in different chocolate shops mentioned in the guide.
In exchange of the third ticket, you can enjoy a free visit at the Chocolate Museum, Choco-Story.

Price : € 11

The chocolate walking guide is sold in Bruges :

- At the bookstore

4) Special facility for blind and partially sighted visitors

Choco-Story has created a box containing 12 objects which can be used by people accompanying blind or partially sighted people to make the visit to the museum more interesting.

Entry for blind and partially-sighted visitors is free, as is the use of the box. Accompanying persons pay the normal entry fee

As there is only one special box it box must be reserved in advance in order to avoid two visits coinciding.

5) Visit after opening hours

The visit takes place after normal opening hours for a group of 15 people minimum

Start of visit: no later than 6 p.m.

Group rate: €6 per person

Flat fee: to cover staff overtime : €100

Guide: if you wish, an official guide from the city of Bruges will accompany you for one to two hours (max.) for a fee of €60
Max. 20 visitors per guide

A souvenir bag (not included in the entrance fee) : option of giving each visitor a bag containing 500 g of chocolate, a flavoured chocolate sachet, etc.; price according to contents

The visit consists of a more detailed demonstration and takes place during normal opening hours for a group of 15 people minimum
The visit can take place after the opening hours with a flat fee of 100€.

The demonstration is longer and more detailed:
· explanation of the composition of different types of chocolate
· tempering
· how to produce a " praline "
During the chocolate tasting session, a glass of wine (or fruit juice if you wish) is served to accompany the chocolate.
